The genre for the book report this month is realistic fiction. Students will receive the project information on Tuesday. It will be due the last school day of this month Monday January 31st.
The spelling packet is due and the test will be given Friday. The spelling words this week are: oak, hotel, coach, notice, dough, yolk, boast, poem, groan, echo, float, control, tornado, hero, coast, though, throat, clothing scold, and roast. Look for fun ideas to study these words at home in the side bar.
Social Studies: We are still studying the Revolutionary War. If you would like to watch some great movies about it online go to www.uen.org, scroll to the bottom of the side bar under Quick Links and click on Videos and Media, then select k-12, and type Revolutionary War in the search bar. You can also watch many different movies in all subjects by searching for them. This is all free and is a wonderful resource to supplement their learning at home!
