Math: We are reviewing for CRTs. Students will have homework every night but Friday.
Reading: Students should have picked their book for this month and be half way through reading it. They could have selected any genre that is at least 150 pages long, on their reading level, and one they have never read before. I will be explaining the project this week. Most of the project will be done in class.
Spelling: The packet is due and the test will be taken Friday. Students will be given 30 minutes in class this week to work on it and the rest should be done at home. The words for this week are: road, waist, right, its, hole whole, write, plain, waste, threw, plane, their, to, it's, there, through, too, rode, they're, and two.
Science: We are reviewing all units in order for the CRTs this week.
Social Studies: We are discussing the year 1863 in the Civil War. Students are also memorizing the last 9 states, capitals, and abbreviations. They will take a quiz on them this Friday.
Store: Students can bring items to sell with class money this Friday. They should find most things at home, however if they choose to buy items to sell they should not spend more than $5.
