Writing: Students will be reflecting on this year and making goals for the future. The research paper that students wrote last week in class will be due Wednesday.
Reading: The book report project this month will be done in class this Thursday. Students must bring their book and give a 1 minute book talk where they describe enough of it to get us to want to read it or not read it. 
Spelling: There is no more spelling this year.
Social Studies: State posters are due Wednesday, and students will be giving their 5-6 minutes state reports on Wednesday or Thursday. Look at last weeks post for more details.  Parents are invited to attend.
States Parade: The States Parade will be Friday at 9:15-9:30a.m. See last weeks post for more details.
Cleaning: Tote trays will be sent home for cleaning this Thursday and must be back by Monday.
If students have outstanding fees for library books or lunch money they need to be paid A.S.A.P
Civil War Day: Friday is Civil War Day. Students can bring blankets, clothespins, tacks, ect... from home to make tents in class. They will also participate in a field hospital simulation. Students can dress up according to their injury. (Ask them for more details)
